INDUSTRY 4.0 SHOWCASE FACTORY, TAICANG
The Industry 4.0 Showcase Factory will be a central hub for local German companies in Taicang showcasing their advanced production technology, and it will also serve as a communication and know-how sharing centre for international experts for production technologies of the future.
VIRTUARCH’s design totally transforms an old abandoned standard workshop building, extending it with a bright lobby and showroom area, while transforming the existing building into a high-tech collaborative production and office space.
A generous multi-purpose room provides perfect conditions for trainings, conferences and know-how exchange events.
Metal is the predominant material for the production and exhibition spaces, while green areas (courtyards, green walls, etc.) are the leading element linking the office and social areas.
