Located in Suzhou Industrial Park and spanning 23400 square meters, Radici Group, a leading Italian chemical manufacturer, entrusted VIRTUARCH with the architectural, interior, and landscape design, as well as project management for this state-of-the-art facility. VIRTUARCH skillfully combined functionality and elegant design, optimizing production while ensuring a sustainable, comfortable, and energy-efficient working environment.
The charming, welcoming entrance with Suzhou garden features
VIRTUARCH optimized the production flow and space layout to strike the perfect balance between functionality and design in the production building. The office building’s design features an iconic glass and aluminum façade, incorporating L-shaped shading elements, combining the square Radici logo and traditional Chinese window patterns, reflecting a harmonious fusion of Chinese and Western cultural elements.

The building’s spiral staircase, symbolizing Radici Group’s leadership, flows dynamically through the multistory lobby space, providing a vibrant and energetic work environment for employees.

The green design philosophy is fully reflected in the factory’s architecture. The building integrates photovoltaic energy systems, rainwater recycling, and intelligent lighting systems, reducing energy consumption and carbon footprints, while achieving LEED Gold and GBL 2-star certifications.

Additionally, the design includes extensive use of local vegetation, preserving natural resources, and reflecting the project’s commitment to sustainability from the planning stage.
