The German Centre Shanghai located in Zhang Jiang Hi-Tech Park provides international companies with a variety of services, including offices, conferences, apartments and commercial areas. As a long-term partner, Virtuarch provides interior design service for the renovation and extension of the building covering an area of 500 square meters.
VIRTUARCH’s design changed the character of the reception area in front of the ballroom and conference rooms of the German Centre totally. The mirroring stainless steel that was adopted for the ceiling has a powerful effect, transforming this former low basement area into a spacious, glamourus place.
Taking into account its building characteristic and culture, the shape of arcs and curves was designed to create a modern and elegant space. The wooden color decorated in the open office area not only gives a homely atmosphere, but also conveys a calm feeling to help employees concentrate on their work.
