Virtuarch was commissioned to realize the future enlargement and upgrading of the Royal Norwegian Embassy in Beijing and was appointed to be Project Manager.
The first implementation step of this project was the renovation of the ‘H Building’ of the Embassy. The ‘H Building’ was transformed from an apartment building to a contemporary office space with a multi-functional room for events. The original concrete structure was replaced by earth quake proof steel structure designed to bear the load of an additional floor.
