YOUTH CENTER, WUXI, JIANGSU PROVINCE, P.R.CHINA
VIRTUARCH was invited by the local government to make a proposal for a high-quality fitout of the YOUTH CENTER in Wuxi.Â
Teaming up with the famous artists Ding Yi, VIRTUARCH proposed transforming Ding Yi’s characteristic paintings inspired by Chinese calligraphy and painting into ceramic tiles which would give the building a bright, colourful appearance inspired by blooming cherry trees.Â
The project consists of public spaces such as auditoriums, exhibition halls, restaurants, lounges and a service center.
