INDONESIAN EMBASSY

The Embassy of the Republic of Indonesia in Bangkok, which was built in the 1960s, was severely damaged because of a massive fire In October 2019. VIRTUARCH won the renovation project in the face of competition and was responsible for interior design and project management. VIRTUARCH’s intervention was not only focusing on repairing the damage, but to take the opportunity to upgrade the building and some of its functions, as well as improving the energy efficiency of the buildings.

We removed the original ceilings of the dining rooms to increase the height of these rooms and bring more natural light into the VIP dining room. This solution creates a brighter, more comfortable and more representative dining space for the Embassy.
