THE COFFEE CLUB VIENTIANE, LUANG PRABANG, LAOS

The Coffee Club Vientiane is located in the heart World Heritage Site Area of Luang Prabang, Laos which is the ancient capital of Kingdom of Laos, situated at the confluence of Nam Khan and Mekong river, Strict façade and extension rules were applied to this project, VIRTUARCH had complied with UNESCO rules for World Heritage Site such as only natural materials can be used in the exterior space.The Coffee Club is the world-renowned Australian restaurant and Café brand. The global image of the brand was blended with a local touch to create a unique branch in this particular area. The furniture fabrics, the hand drawings and the precious wood materials make echo to this World Heritage Site’s identity.The interior flooring and roof structure are made with teak wood. In order not to disturb touristic activities and hotel operations, VIRTUARCH managed to complete the construction within 20 days, by using knock-down equipments, counters and furnitures that are prepared in a workshop and assembled on site.
