Innovation Center Rapperswil

The Innovation Center Rapperswil, a multifunctional business hub, offers diverse working areas with co-working spaces, meeting rooms, a small hospitality area and outdoor terrace. VIRTUARCH designed a state-of-the-art building that blends in the sub-urban landscape of the Rapperswil-Jona area. The building based on the original cubic geometry has 3-dimensional dynamism on facades: an attic floor with two terraces facing North and South, the landscape and each window with flared frames. In response to carbon neutral goals, the building is connected to the district heating system, and its design integrates free cooling solutions and a photovoltaic roof.
